This is a dual role position in which the individual has overall responsibility for site manufacturing and is also a Product Manager for one or more product lines. As such, the individual will be responsible for the supervision and optimization of the site’s safety, production, site supply chain, reliability and cost effectiveness of manufacturing assets, and organizational development activities, to ensure the continuous flow of high quality product from the plant in compliance with all regulatory requirements. In this dual role, the Operations Manager is responsible for all site Manufacturing and has responsibility as a Product Manager for one or more production cells. Thus, direct reports include other Production Managers, shift supervisors and some cell leaders. As the highest-level manufacturing leader in the facility, the Operations Manager is expected to have significant knowledge and experience in Lean manufacturing processes and techniques. The individual is also expected to be an excellent communicator and motivational to the employees and lead by example.

This is a full time, exempt level position.
This position will require regular walking around the plant for the duration of their day.
The employee must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
